On May 19, 2015, USCIS announced that they would be suspending premium processing service for Form I-129 extension of stay H-1B petitions from May 26, 2015 to July 27, 2015.
In order to implement the new H-4 Spousal EAD Final Rule USCIS decided to suspend premium processing service for I-129 petitions filed for an H-1B extension. Other I-129 petitions (such as H-1B amendments) were not included in this suspension.
On July 13, 2015, USCIS announced that they would immediately be resuming premium processing service for these H-1B petitions. This announcement comes two weeks earlier than previously expected.
Premium processing is currently available for all I-129 petitions. Please note that beginning on June 1, 2015, USCIS began only excepting the newest version of the I-907 form (01/29/2015) and that use of previous versions will result in rejection of your premium processing request.
