On July 27, 2023 USCIS announced that it would be conducting a second random selection of H-1B registrations. The second selection comes after it was determined that additional selections would be needed to meet the annual H-1B cap. All selections were made from the March 2023 registration period. 

The second random selection has been completed as of July 31, 2023. Newly selected registrations will be notified in their online account. If you account has not been updated as of July 31, you were not selected in the second round. 

Those selected in this selection should follow the filing directions on their selection notice. H-1B petitions must be filed between August 2-October 31, 2023.
